Young Living Participates in V-Day SUPERLOVE Celebration, April 2008
As a celebration of women and a global movement to end violence against women and girls, this year's V-Day transformed New Orleans's Superdome into SUPERLOVE—a place to heal, gather, celebrate, and activate to change the story of women. Participants enjoyed special caring lounges, including the Well-Being Lounge hosted by Donna Karan's Urban Zen Foundation. Young Living Essential Oils and several Young Living distributors were invited to join the more than 30,000 attendees in treating Hurricane Katrina survivors to two days of yoga, massage, aromatherapy, and nutrition education. Young Living also donated essential oils, NingXia Red®, and Thieves® Hand Purifier for volunteers and participants. Texas Hospital Utilizes The Power of Essential Oils, April 2008Members of the Young Living family know how important essential oils are to health and well-being. Now patients in a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital are using the power of essential oils on a clinical level. Young Living Featured on Studio 5, March 2008Suzette Caplin, Young Living Lavender Farm marketing and PR director, was featured in the March 28 broadcast of Studio 5, a weekday Utah community lifestyle program on KSL Channel 5. Busy promoting Young Living's upcoming Lavender Days celebration, Suzette represented Young Living Lavender Farm in the "Make-It-Yourself Beauty: Lavender Bliss" segment of the program, and taught about the many uses of lavender, which has long been known as the little herb that could. Suzette explained the many benefits of lavender, both physical and mental, and explained the difference between perfume-grade and higher quality therapeutic-grade essential oils. Young Living Essential Oils Named a Top 15 Revenue Company, March 2008Utah Valley Business Q named Young Living Essential Oils No. 7 in its annual list of the top 15 revenue companies in Utah Valley. This ranking was based on 2007 annual revenue. When asked by Utah Valley Business Q to provide his secrets to Young Living's continued financial success, Young Living Founder and President, D. Gary Young, said, "Splurge on your employees and cut back on expenditures and ostentatious displays of wealth in business and personal lifestyle." Contra Costa Times, February 2008The article “A Natural and Unique Spa Experience” in the February 1 issue of the Contra Costa Times features Cher Orio and her spa, It's Only Natural. The Martha Stewart Show, May 2007On May 24, 2007, The Martha Stewart Show featured Young Living Director of Science and Education Dr. David K. Hill along with respected fashion designer Donna Karan (Donna Karan New York/DKNY).
